1. Who we are and what this covers

A1 Locals ("A1 Locals," "we," "us") is operated by Saguaro Media Group LLC, an Arizona limited liability company. These Terms of Use cover your use of a1locals.com, its business pages (for example, a1locals.com/p/your-business), and related services (together, the "Service"). By building a page, claiming a listing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Who can use A1 Locals

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Pages are for real, operating businesses located in the United States.
• You must own the business or be authorized to act for it.
• You may have up to 3 pages per email address, and up to 3 pages linked to the same website, with one free page per business. If your business has more locations, you can ask us to raise the limit.

3. Your free page and optional upgrades

Your basic business page, as described on our website when you sign up, is free. We may offer optional paid features in the future, such as a custom web address, photos, or an ad-free page. Paid features are always optional and will be clearly described, with their price, before you buy them.

3a. Free @a1locals.com email

We may offer businesses a free @a1locals.com email address that forwards messages to the owner's private email. It's for legitimate business use only. We may turn off an address that's used for spam, fraud, or to impersonate anyone. We may stop offering new addresses at any time; addresses already set up stay active as long as the page is active and the address is used properly. Owners can't reserve names that could be confused with A1 Locals or another business.

4. Your account and confirmation

We send a confirmation link to the private email address you give us. Your page becomes public only after you click it. Pages that aren't confirmed within 7 days are deleted. Keep your email address up to date, because we use it to confirm your page, let you make changes, and contact you about your page.

5. What you agree to

When you create or claim a page, you promise that:

• The business is real, and you have the right to list it.
• Your information is accurate, and you'll keep it up to date.
• You have the right to use any text, links, or other content you add.
• Your page won't contain anything false, misleading, illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or harmful.
• You won't use the Service to send spam, impersonate another business, collect other people's information, or interfere with the Service.
• You hold any licenses your work legally requires.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the information and content you add to your page. You give A1 Locals a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide permission to host, display, copy, format, and share that content as part of the Service, including in our directory, search results, and promotion of A1 Locals. This permission ends when your page is deleted, except for copies kept for a reasonable time in backups or as required by law.

7. Branding and advertising

Pages show A1 Locals branding and links, such as "Get your free page." Pages and directory listings may also display advertising or sponsored content in the future. Any paid placement in the directory will be clearly labeled, for example as "Featured" or "Sponsored." We won't place ads that pretend to be your business.

8. How listings are ordered

In our directory, businesses with a free A1 Locals page (members) appear ahead of other listings. Members are shown in an order that we shuffle at random about once a day. A member who refers another business that creates and confirms its own A1 Locals page gets 7 days shown first among members in their own lists, up to 90 days at a time. Referrals don't count if the referred page is created by the same owner, is fake, or is later deleted, and we may remove referral time that was gained unfairly. When someone searches near a location, members may be shown closest first instead. Any paid placement will be labeled. The order of listings is not a ranking of quality.

9. Unclaimed listings

We may list basic, publicly available facts about local businesses that haven't created a page, such as name, category, city, phone number, and website link. These are marked "Unclaimed listing." A business owner can claim a listing to manage it, or ask us to remove it, and we'll handle removal requests promptly. When you claim a listing, your page keeps the business name, address, map location, type of business, phone number, and website already on that listing, so nobody else can redirect the business's customers. You write your own description and hours, but phone numbers, email addresses, web addresses, and payment instructions belong in their own boxes, not in the description. To change a locked detail, use "Request a correction" when you edit your page, and we may ask for proof that you represent the business.

10. Removing or changing pages

We may suspend or remove any page or listing at our discretion, for example if it contains false or misleading information, spam, or illegal or offensive content; if the business has closed; if we can't confirm the business is real; or if we receive repeated, credible complaints that the business has engaged in fraud, scams, or conduct that harms customers. When we reasonably can, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem first. We won't remove pages for reasons that are unlawful, such as discrimination. You may delete your page at any time.

11. Not an endorsement

A1 Locals is a directory. Business information is provided by the businesses themselves or comes from public sources. We don't endorse, recommend, or guarantee any business, its licenses, or the quality of its work, and the "A1" in our name is not a rating. Customers should do their own checking before hiring or buying.

12. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may change, add, or remove features of the Service. If we make important changes to these Terms, we'll update the date at the top and email page owners at least 14 days before the changes take effect. If we ever stop running the Service, we'll give page owners at least 30 days' notice by email.

13. No warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including that the Service will always be available, error-free, or bring you customers.

14. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, A1 Locals won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or lost profits, arising from your use of the Service or from dealings between customers and businesses listed on it. Because the basic Service is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or $50.

15. Your responsibility

If your content or your business causes a claim against A1 Locals, for example because information on your page was false or infringed someone else's rights, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, including legal fees.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in [county] County, Arizona, unless the law requires otherwise.
